Diademed and draped bust of Demetrios II to right. Rev. ΒAΣIΛEΩΣ - ΔHMHTPIOY Eagle, wings closed, standing left on prow; behind, palm frond; in field to left, club surmounted by city monogram; in field to right, ΘΞP above monogram. SC 1959.3b. Beautifully toned and well struck, with a particularly elegant portrait of the young king. Some light marks on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
